Durable and fairly accurate (gains about 1 1/2 minute per week, fairly typical for this ETA movement). This is my kayaking watch (I am a certified instructor), it has taken a beating but has barely a mark to show for it. I can read it (minus the date) just fine without my prescription glasses, something very important to me as I often do not wear my 'script glasses when on the water. Was not wild about the bright red strap. While there were a ton of 22mm options, I decided to switch the strap out for the PVD one that goes with the quartz model. It fits over my drysuits and paddling jackets just fine (using the band extension). This, of course, precludes the attachment location many kayakers use, around the shoulder strap of their PFD. As this is too close to my face for me to read anyway, I prefer to wear it on my wrist and risk moisture inside my drysuit (through capillary action) that may accompany this decision. I have not taken it down to 500m (I don't dive), but it has gotten very wet and has worked rather well for me. It is a great value for a reliable, easy to read, automatic dive watch.
