A brand new product in the Citizen range, the Perpetual Chrono A-T watch does everything you could possibly want. Previously, I'd been looking for a Citizen watch, but was unable to find one which combined all of Citizen's best features. At a $525 price point, it's incredible to get an eco-drive watch, with perpetual (atomic) time, titanium band and sapphire glass. Having worn the watch for a week, I can say that it's not cumbersome like some watches. It sits nicely on my wrist and doesn't appear "too big". The watch has a very comprehensive instruction manual and adjusting the time is very easy. There are a lot of functions and it will take a while to get used to them all. Many functions and indicators work by rotating the watch's second hand which can be somewhat confusing unless you're used to it and know what the readings are. It's not always intuitive. The watch is useful for American users (with LA, Denver, Chicago and New York) but only has one timezone outside America (London). However, there's an "alternate" time zone which can be used for most other locations, but it would be nice if the watch had genuine world locations (such as NY, London, Tokyo, etc.) It's possible that Citizen has released the watch with localised timezones in other regions. That's the biggest downside of the watch (US oriented timezones). Another small negative is that the alarm is quite soft (hard to hear). I wouldn't rely on it to wake me up! Carry a regular alarm clock (or phone with alarm) instead. Overall, the watch is great. The face is clear and easy to read, the band (titanium) is light and looks good.
